All financial values in this database have been expressed in US$.
Where an amount was originally reported in a currency other than US$, the
online currency exchange www.xe.com was used to obtain an exchange rate
between the relevant currency and US$ on the date of the deal announcement.
The US$ amount then determined, was entered into the database.
